Since 2024, we've been teaching stylists worldwide how to create updos that hold their shape through long events and stay beautiful from first photo to last dance.

Why we started teaching this way

Most updo courses show you what to do. We show you why certain pin placements hold better than others, why some hair textures need different sectioning, and how to adapt classic techniques when working with extensions or thin hair.

Our founder, Amberley Thornhill, spent eleven years working backstage at fashion weeks and weddings before realizing that stylists needed practical problem-solving skills more than they needed another tutorial on the same French twist. She built this program around the questions stylists actually ask when a style starts falling apart mid-event.

We don't promise overnight mastery. Learning to create secure, beautiful updos takes focused practice with proper guidance. What we do offer is a clear path from basic structure to advanced adaptation, with enough detail that you understand not just the steps but the engineering behind them.
